I am with you bama, at least there are still great shoes and boots made in the U.S.A.  A large factory is located in Rockford, MI that make Wolverine shoes, another great maker is Red Wings, both are quality footwear.

But maybe it means my neighbor can keep his/her job for a little longer.
Just don't close down the Chinese restaurants!

Sadly for some things there is just not many (or no) choices.
But I always look at "Made in ..." and will always spend a little more for non-Chinese.
Don't have anything personal against the Chinese.
I'm just tired of all the junk-products dumped on our shores.
And will go out of my way to get "Made in "U.S.A".

I am NOT unusually chauvinistic but with China messing around in the S. China Sea and even threatening us, I'd like to avoid sending my $$ there. 

The big chains like Walmart and Harbor Freight seem to concentrate on made-in-China products, is there a source for alternatives that you use?
