And at least a V6. Our 3.5L V6 Highlander is rated for 5000 and it tows our 179 quite nicely.]]>

The towing rating is 2000 LBS. All R Pods are heavier than that. With the right hitch and never plannig to cross the Great Divide, can you exceed the rating and not be unsafe or damage the SUV? I was interested in the 180 but that is 600+ LBS over the rating. I tow a light trimaran sailboat now with the CX5 but it is under the rating. BTW, we live in Wisconsin.]]>
