You can use a home scale and a lever, or you can buy a dedicated TW scale from Sherline Manufacturing. Many owners opt for the Sherline. I took ours to a rally once, and was "very popular".. LOL

If you don't remember 8th grade physics, the home/bathroom scale and lever method is explained a lot of places on the internet, and you tube has videos..

 This is a great little demonstration video showing the effect of not having enough tongue weight and too much tail weight. No one get's hurt (you'll see why!!) Check it out.
