For our stock table, I've remounted the metal leg frame ....offsetting the legs to one side by a little over 2 inches. This allows the table to turn perpendicular and allows the new more open table end to hang further over the center cushion. The opposite end then doesn't stick into the halllway as much after it is twisted 90°.

This mod gives more sitting space on the dinette ends, and a couple can play cards or games or drink coffee better facing each other using the table portion that can now overhang the center cushion more. Plus, it's fine that way for eating lunch too, (or just turn it back to the normal position if you want).

With the legs shifted, once the table is set back in the normal crosswise position, it's now easier to slide into the dinette on the one side. So, that change is working for us, and this modification is both cheap and not permanent. I learned this trick from another R-Pod owner here. If I remembered their name, I would thank them now.

The final dinette peeve I have are the two removable end cushions for the U-shaped dinette seating. (and it's minor). It was described by another here that sitting on those feel like you are sitting on collapsible marshmallows. I agree. So, I will be looking for an upholsterer to replace the FR foam with some denser stuff, but of the same thickness, so that you don't sink down on mush. That would be the final mod in the dinette for me. Not quite dinette happy yet till that last change. Might even do the long padding with the same stuff....
