    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=217" rel="nofollow">techntrek</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 876<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 19 Nov 2009 at 11:01am<br /><br />The only outlet on the left (street) side is inside the fridge compartment, and due to regulations the 2nd outlet is blocked.&nbsp; Even if it were available nothing could be permanently plugged in w/o leaving the lower cover off.&nbsp; It would be nice to have an external outlet on that side.<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>In my case, if I arrive at my site after dark&nbsp;I like to plug in a few AC lights so I have good visibility during setup (if I don't have full hookups I have an inverter in the tow vechicle).&nbsp; I could run an extension cord around the side, but its an extra step I don't need when I first back in.&nbsp; I could use battery-powered or gas-powered&nbsp;spotlights or lanterns but I don't need them the rest of the time I camp so I'd rather not carry them.&nbsp; Also there can be camping situations where the street side is the best side to "set up camp".&nbsp; With AC lines already run on both sides of the 'pod it would be fairly easy to add an extra box and outlet to the design.</DIV>]]>
