Congratulations and Welcome! We have been enjoying our 179 since we picked it up in December of last year. We've made 4 major trips so far. Well folks after lurking about for about a year and a half and first buying a 178, we are now owners of a new 2017 (old green color) 179.  I purchased it from Cheyenne Camping Center in Walcott Iowa and could not be more pleased with Kevin Frazer (the owner) and the whole crew there.   The 179 was sold to me without Microwave, AC, Rdome or TV as I wanted to set it up for boon docking and be able to run on 12 Volts.   I have installed double gas bottles,  double 12volt batteries, a 150 watt solar panel, and I am in the process of fitting a Carefree Pioneer Lite awning (10 feet long) and a Carefree Vacation'r Room enclosure.   The awning fits with a couple of small mods to the upper brackets.  Every thing on the unit works and out side of thefew crooked and not on center items (the coach body is not centered on the frame) things are better than my 178.   I am pleased.]]> Wed, 24 Aug 2016 13:58:09 +0000 http://www.rpod-owners.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=8644&PID=81055#81055
