Is there enough of a difference to be safe? My Lippert axle is rated at 3550 lbs, my trailer weighs 2970 from the factory but 3450 with very little of my stuff in it. If I have any fresh, black or grey water and food etc. the trailer will weigh more than the axle is rated. There is an axle rated at 4400lbs. This should have been the one FR used. But, it is more expensive so they used the 3550 Lippert.

Ken (Plantguy)
