If someone took the time (and money) to improve their trailer - I mean professional-looking mods - they more than likely took good care of it, too. I'd at least add on a few extra $s for my efforts. On the other hand, if you're talking trade-in, dealers could care less. We had our brand new 177HRE for a year, and the dealer offered us a trade-in of $6,500 less than we paid for it.

Might make for a quicker sale.

    Author: Travel guy
Subject: 8591
Posted: 14 Aug 2016 at 10:18pm

We've made the tough decision to sell our 2014 176t. Trouble is, there are so few available nationwide right now, I have no idea how to price it. NADA isn't entirely helpful either.

It's loaded, including extras such as a Zamp solar panel, Rdome, custom marine wood tabletop, hitch mounted storage rack, etc.

It's been used six times over three seasons and hasn't seen more than 1,500 road miles total. There is ONE comparable listed thru RVTrader, @ $16,000. Nada gives a ballpark of $16,300, without taking into consideration the above-mentioned upgrades.

Could this be worth $17,000? $17,500? That seems awfully high, but there just isn't enough data to convince me that a number that begins with a 17 isn't a good place to start.

Any input would be appreciated.
