    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1146" rel="nofollow">jato</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 8579<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 13 Aug 2016 at 3:05pm<br /><br />Just measured the top of our 2" ball on our Explorer, 16."&nbsp; Sway bar, a necessity for us because of a short wheelbase.&nbsp; Many on this forum who have full size pick ups don't use them, while others do, as Leo mentioned, personal preference.&nbsp; My take is that I would rather err on the side of safety (in other words, spend the 50 - 75 bucks on a sway bar) than save a few bucks while towing a pod that you have thousands of dollars invested in.<br>]]>
