    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1014" rel="nofollow">Camper Bob</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 8483<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 31 Jul 2016 at 8:28pm<br /><br />We have a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder with I assume the same engine. &nbsp;We have the 171 and when I weighed it with all our "stuff" and only about 5 gals. of water it weighed about 2800 lbs. &nbsp;Pulled fine thru the mountains, during a hot Oregon summer. &nbsp;I would recommend getting an OBD &nbsp;scanner to read and display certain engine functions. &nbsp;Such as radiator water temp, MPG, etc. but most important would be the transmission oil temp. &nbsp;Normally our Nissan runs about 150 degrees around town. &nbsp;When towing up a hill on a long climb it has gotten as hot as 225. &nbsp;Much more than that and you have to throttle back and let the temp come down. &nbsp;About 250 or higher the transmission fluid starts to break down. &nbsp;Easy way to keep an eye on the temps. &nbsp;Mounts on the dash with velcro and plugs into jack under the dash. &nbsp;Safe Travels.&nbsp;]]>
