    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=5574" rel="nofollow">Milhouse</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 8415<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 18 Jul 2016 at 6:57pm<br /><br />My girlfriend and I are proud new owners of a 2016 Rpod 178!<br><br>So far the only mod we've done is add a better mattress.<br><br>We took it up to our favorite campsite in northern Arizona and it worked perfectly. &nbsp;As you can see from the photo we're still used to tent camping, so we brought just about all of our usual kit just to see what we do and don't need. &nbsp;Setting up the kitchen outside is a bit of a chore, but we like cooking outside instead of in the camper.<br><br>On a three day trip everything went well except for killing the battery. &nbsp;We had the fridge on propane power and everything else was used sparingly so I was kind of surprised. &nbsp;Hooking it back up to the truck charged it back up and everything worked out fine. &nbsp;I'm thinking our first mod will either be dual 6v batteries or solar panels, or possibly both.<div><br></div><div>Lurking around in this forum beforehand certainly helped us with our purchasing decision, so thanks to all the active posters with there experiences!</div><div><br></div><div><img src="uploads/5574/firstrpodcamp.jpg" height="1022" width="1434" border="0" /><br></div>]]>
