We had the same problem initially after picking it up.  After swapping out all of the cables and bypassing the wall jack and not fixing the problem, I cut the unit out of the rpod and brought it to the dealership and they tested it and it worked for them.  I brought it home and hooked it up again and it worked, so it could have been a loose connection or something not seated properly.  Good luck!]]> Sun, 26 Jun 2016 12:20:43 +0000 https://www.rpod-owners.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=8221&PID=77943#77943 DVD plays black and white : Thanks. Change the input on the television to AV.
