A word of caution here. It's not just the weight, but also the lever arm or distance from the bumper. Adapting a 2" tube to a 1.25" receiver is generally not a good idea because it increases the distance from the bumper. The back of a trailer is not a friendly environment due to bouncing and whipping as you drive. That's why the rack manufacturers (lawyers) recommend against that application. Adapting a 1.25" tube to a 2" receiver is OK because it is just a sleeve inside the 2" receiver. I don't know the details of the 176T, but you might be able to add a bolt-on 2" receiver to the cross member of the Pod. Should work IF you have room on the draw bar and IF you have room between bikes and trailer parts like tanks and tongue jack. May require a longer shank if you're using a WDH. Still working on the bike rack decision.  Our contact at FR thought we should look into this one...anyone use or have thoughts?  Love the bikes on the hitch, prefer that over using rear receiver. if we have to use the rear receiver we will probably go with the Hollywood 2 bike rack.
