    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=5865" rel="nofollow">JScottHouse</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 8106<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 16 Aug 2016 at 5:51pm<br /><br />I too spend a lot of time in national parks with no power or running water. &nbsp;For me, the best is use a 12v TV. &nbsp;I bought one about the size of a iPad Mini several years ago. &nbsp;I plug the pod's antenna in to the 12v TV and use it plugged into a 12v outlet I installed. &nbsp;I use two batteries, and a 50w solar panel connected directly to the batteries. &nbsp;When I have "dry" camped for several days, it is not unusual to return home with a full battery charge. &nbsp;Before I leave for a period of dry camping, I frequently download several movies to my iPad, and view them in places with little or no TV reception. &nbsp;Camp on!<div><br></div>]]>

If you look in the mods section you will see where a number of people have installed a 12V outlet. If you look in my mods, you will see the one I installed. It isn't too hard to do.]]>

I have a 2015 182 and want to run the TV in campgrounds that do not provide power. We are solar ready, but don't have the zamp package yet. I have two 12 volt batteries connected. We also have a generator, but it's super loud. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!]]>
