The converter can't 'drain' the battery if the pod isn't unplugged from your house, but the fridge circuitry and the LP detector will (in about 2 weeks). If the converter was plugged in and is only reaching 11.6 volts, then I could see an issue since that is extremely low and would allow the battery to discharge.

We also found out that if the refer board as left on the truck would not charge the battery so I'm thinking there may be a problem with the fridge. The 180 is going in to the shop to get checked out tomorrow so hopefully the problem will get solved. Thanks again, Dan

My wife and I just picked up our new 2017 RP 180 a couple of weeks ago in Ohio. We were on a trip from California to Indiana to visit our daughter and had been thinking of purchasing a R POD and when we saw the prices were so great in Ohio we ended up purchasing one and bringing back to California. We do a lot of dry camping and this unit just seemed to fit the bill for us. We had a problem with our inverter and our battery went dead, that is fun being in an RV park and no lights or anything. Taking the unit in on Monday and having it all checked out. Really looking forward to camping this summer in it.
Did have a question for someone out there, I want to hook up a solar kit and I was wondering where I can find the plug to fit the built in one on the R POD?
