The WFCO converter has a built in 3 stage charger (bulk, absorption, float). I leave mine plugged in all winter and have had no problems. I check/fill as needed during the winterization process. I do check them on warm days during storage but, have never had to add water.

I suppose that it is possible that the WFCO is malfunctioning and is stuck in "bulk" mode???

Pods have a pretty decent 3 stage charger. Ouyr pod has been plugged in since July of 2011, except when towing or boondocking. Leaving the POd plugged in all winter will not overcharge the battery. Hello, we have a 2010 175. How do I get the battery to not overcharge and keep the battery acid from boiling away. I ruined my new Napa battery leaving it plugged in over the winter. I thought it would have a charge controller.
