I did buy the 6 year for $657.00 warranty from Protective.

Search the plan and you will find overwhelming positive experiences. You may never use it. Then again...

Also, I consider it a selling feature when we do decide to sell the Pod and upgrade to our Airstream Land Yacht. I'm leaning towards the Mocha interior. A bit brighter than the Polar.

Insurance is all about risk tolerance. I usually never buy extended warranties, but this plan just seemed like a reasonable purchase and I had the extra cash

Would like to know other rpod owner's views & experience regarding an extended warranty. Our 179 is almost a year old and we've gotten a quote from our dealer/servicer of between $1380-1580 with corresponding deductibles of $300-100 for a 7 year platinum plan warranty with USA Travel Care. The coverage appears to be pretty extensive & i'm sure if/when things start going wrong repairs can get expensive quickly.
