Could then be turned off for the night. The model I'm going to try could be hung on a small screw or hook, or even placed on the floor or counter of the 179. We're taking our first long trip (10 days) starting Thursday so I'll try it out and post the findings. I also like your idea of the little puck type lights, and Gregm's idea about the night light.

I would think that inside would not work very well. After all, I don't want a light turning on if I need (or my wife needs) to get up during the night. I'd rather have a switch by the door. Perhaps one of the little round puck type LED lights that can just be tapped to turn on and off would suffice.

Ambient daylight inside would be enough to power it for such limited use. My son just gave me an MPOW solar motion sensor light with 8 LEDs I've been using at the house, so I'll move it to the 179 and try it. A 4 LED version should work just as well.
