I forget what brand of multi-entertainment module our 177 was equipped with-  probably a Jensen-  I tore it out and threw it away so long ago that I have (nearly) erased it from memory.  

The best advice I can offer in improving it's operation is to do likewise.  Then a little ingenuity and a modest investment in components that work.

Has anyone put a better antenna on the Jensen radio? It is so worthless, especially strong AM stations that should come in easily.
