Fall Creek Falls in Tennesee. It is BEAUTIFULL. "Fall Creek Falls, at 256 feet, is the highest waterfall in the eastern United States". Just a thought.]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=2" rel="nofollow">Guests</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 784<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 03 Nov 2009 at 2:09pm<br /><br />I spent 1 night in this <b>GA State Park</b>.&nbsp; It's a real nice park that I would hit again if it was along my route.&nbsp; It's close to Sandersville, GA.<br><br><b>Hamburg State Park</b>: <a href="http://www.gastateparks.org" target="_blank">http://www.gastateparks.org</a>&nbsp; (478) 552-2393 or (800) 864-7275<br><br>They have plenty of pull through sites and all sites have a view of the lake.&nbsp; RV camping is $23.00 per night and $18.40 per night for seniors.&nbsp; All RV sites have water and electric, 30amp and 50amp.&nbsp; They use a dump station.&nbsp; There is a restored water powered grist mill in the campground with free tours.&nbsp; Park Office hours are:&nbsp; 8:00AM to 5:00PM.<br><br>The sites are large and clean with plenty of shade.<br><br>Terry<br><br><br><br><br><br>]]>

I am not sure if it is open in the winter but I suppose it is since Fort Boonesboro is open.&nbsp; The Horse Park is interesting.&nbsp; They have a museum dedicated to everything "horsey" :)<DIV>They have famous horses that have been retired.&nbsp; During the summer (not sure now) they have what they call "The Parade of the Horses" and different breeds are brought out to show. </DIV><DIV>If you are staying more than a day there are other&nbsp; places around Lexington of interest.</DIV>]]>

Our time in FL is all booked, but we're soliciting ideas for places to stay on the way back up. We'll be starting back home from Fort DeSoto State Park in FL.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Probably GA and KY on the way back up will work the best, so if anyone has any personal experience with any parks in those areas we'd appreciate any and all feedback.</DIV>]]>
