you will get used to the smaller size R Pod.  My wife and I have had our R Pod 173 for about 5 years now.  We use it for long distance, multi week travels .  We have been out as long as 10 weeks.  the key is to not take what you don't use.  We have found that a good cooler(Engel) is a great way to keep drinks, veggies, etc cool while still keeping the refrig full.  We also take along a very small propane grill for outside cooking.Look back at this forum and you will get a world of advice and good info.The Pod is a great unit to modify to your needs and taste. Don't hesitate to modify it. Don't be afraid of traveling with the R Pod-it's great and you will get a lot of attention.
