I realize this is a month old, but I've been extremely happy with my Go-Kot. Lightweight but supports up to 350 pounds. It comes in an XL size as well.

I would vote for the roll a cot. Used them both hunting and on river trips. They used to make an XL version. Speaking of Alps Mountaineering (they make great gear) I don't doubt you will like the long version of this cot:

I'll stick with my roll a cot, since I've used it hundreds of times and it is still good as new, scuffed up a bit though. I don't like the army style cots because they stretch, even the Cabela's fancy nylon versions, and the end bars can be very difficult to install until they stretch. Plus they are HEAVY and bulky.

Note the above cot weighs 7 pounds more than the big roll a cot. Let us hear about which one you select.

We used some similar to the military cots at a friends hunting camp a while back an they were pretty comfortable, though after a few " camp beverages " a rock bed wou;d have felt good LOL

Thanks codyocountry! That looks like a nice cot! A little shorter than I would like, but super light and looks really well built. I have an Alps Mountaineering self inflating sleeping pad I really like.

I've used these for years, including some very rough treatment on wilderness horse trips. They pack small are very comfortable, and don't' stretch with use. You'll need a thin foam pad on top.

I have never had a good nights sleep on a cot.. in hundreds, if not a thousand, nights on a cot.

For the first time, we will camping with adult guest(s). Personally, I could sleep on the roof of my TV or under the Pod, but I need to come up with one or two other sleeping arrangements. So I'm looking at cots.

I got the dome thing down, so a good cot or two "under the dome" makes the most sense to turn the Pod into a two-one. I want a good cot. Something I can use other than the sofa when I get banished for doing something I'm not sure what I did to get banished. Needs to be easy to set up, at least 84" long and stowed without huge hassle.
