Thanks, Charlie.  I should be doing that instead of burning my propane.  But tomorrow night I'll turn the furnace off and bring one of my small electric heaters out there.

Running a small electric heater inside will work well. Open the lower cabinet doors so the warm air can circulate around plumbing and close the slide. Keep the fresh water tank at least 1/2 full so it doesn't freeze and leave the two waste tanks empty. Most of the RPOD plumbing is within the insulated floor/walls. The most vulnerable section is the fresh water tank drain and/or pump pickup hose IIRC. The hoses themselves are OK, but occasionally a fitting will crack. High 20s should be no problem.

You should be OK with a heater on. I have camped into the low 20's and had no issues.

Home with the new R-Pod!  "Trial by fire" as one kind man said when he stopped to help while I was stranded with a flat tire on the thruway.  It was there I learned that the trailer tire lug nuts are not the same size as the truck tire lug nuts.  I have a Gorilla wrench with two sockets on order as a result of this experience.  And this evening I can't disconnect my Equilizer hitch from it's ball.  Off to watch YouTube videos now to see what I'm doing wrong.  The learning curve continues bending.  Wish me luck tomorrow!

It's been funny in New England hasn't it? It looked like an early spring, and then everything came to a screeching halt. I just headed out on my first trip today, to the beach in RI, all the way down I saw no campers in tow at all - only boats and ATVs. We bought our TT there in Sept. last year. They were very good with us as far as testing everything. We were allowed in the garage to watch as they did the complete dealer prep as it had just arrived from Indiana. We arrived about 8:30 a.m. and departed around 2 p.m. We spent quite a bit of time at the dealership. They were very nice folks!!

We left the following morning for the trip back to Texas. The pod towed very well. Take your time and enjoy your new adventure.

You are welcome. As Retroactive mentions, you can get a lot of the "everyday", commonly needed things at Walmart: TP, Black tank chemical, waste hoses, fresh water (white) hoses, wheel chocks, levelers, etc. If I remember, Couch's sells a "starter kit" but, I don't remember what all it contains.

And thank you, too, Pete.  I've towed an ATV trailer which is probably half as long as the Pod.  And you have reminded me that I had thought about mirror extenders for my Ridgeline which is a compact truck.  This is something the dealer will probably have in stock?

I would recommend going to a nearby and relatively empty parking lot and practice driving and parking (especially backing up) your new Rpod. Also have them work with you on putting the r-dome on and how to fold it back into it's bag. The television and the a/c /thermostat control can also be tricky.

Congrats!! Welcome to the group!
Have them walk you thru everything, and try everything from your stove, frig to the a/c shower, sinks tv/stereo. Inspect every inch. It takes a couple hours. but the tech person expects to demonstrate everything. Also when he is demonstrating alot of the items, pull out your cell phone cause you will be lucky to remember 1/2 of what he tells you.
I find that the pods tow really well!
