I keep auto throttle on most of the time, so it's much quieter than that except when the A/C compressor kicks on.]]>

Having been around loud generators, I can understand the concern.  At my first outing with our 179, a guy was running a generator about 30 feet away that was loud enough that I couldn't hear my own generators when practically standing next to them.<br /><br /><br />Maybe the advice should be if you must run generators, run quiet ones.]]>

There are different kinds of camping and campers (people) though and there is usually room somewhere for camping with generators.  May as well try to ban kids.<br /><br />TT&gt;]]>

I will shut them down when it cools off.</td></tr></table><br><br>By definition, if boondocking/dispersed camping, you shouldn't be close enough to other campers to have to worry about it. At least the way we do it. (but we don't use a genny anyways) <br>]]>
