Seriously, it just happens on occasion, but not very often. Probably nothing on your end - if you can access the other stuff that you normally do. Yes, that is the reason, but it is the mid-Atlantic.  Yesterday there was a storm front with high winds that rolled over Ohio (where the forum server is) which I'm sure knocked out the power or connection.  When it hit us in MD there were 60+ mph wind gusts.  We lost power for a while and some still don't have it.

Occasional connection issues are somewhat normal this time of year.
