Great Idea.<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>I think that Cindy and I will actually be taking the table outdoors when a picnic table is not supplied at the campsite. We will be carrying a few TV Trays with us for misc reasons, and this would be one of them. We also have a camping tri-fold table Ive had for years that we pack up too.</DIV><DIV>We use the Tri-fold for putting all the outdoor cooking stuff on, along with other stuff too.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>It'll be great when all of us get to actually camp-out next Spring/Summer and take some pictures of our Camp-Setups !!!     <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=2" rel="nofollow">Guests</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 766<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 28 Oct 2009 at 7:28pm<br /><br />We had a tent trailer, so I've had my fill of cranking, pulling out bunks, making beds and setting up the table each time I&nbsp; stopped at a campground.&nbsp; We chose the 171 because we didn't want to do any of these things anymore.&nbsp; It wasn't until  the dealer's walk-thru  that I learned that the table had to be taken down every time you hitched-up.<br><br>I do like that the table is self-standing, so that I can take it outside when needed.&nbsp; Its also handy to be able to move it around when pulling things out from under the dinette seats (which I seem to do far too often).<br><br>I ended up just using two bungee cords: one on the front legs, the other on the back with a bungee hook coming off of each of the four legs.&nbsp; I drilled four vertical holes  on the bed rails, two at the front and two at the back, and cut the bungee cords to length.&nbsp; The bungee hooks fit easily into the holes and hold the table steady in transit.&nbsp; When we stop for lunch, I just unhook the front bungees and there's comfortable seating for two; the back bungees are out of the way, so I just leave them in place.<br>]]>

We kept&nbsp;the original table top, which is heavy but we liked the matching formica to the counter top. We have it so that it attaches to the front wall with one single leg with a locking hinge. We can leave it up when traveling and lower it for the bed option. The single leg allows more room for your feet and the hinge locks in place in the up or down position. The table doesen"t slide though, but thats a good option. Will post a picture later.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; David and Danette]]>

I wonder if the same hardware could be used on the table in an R-pod.
