Speaking of Lithium grease, that reminds me to put a little bit on the stabilizer jacks before the first trip. They were very creaky when I cranked them down. That is the reality of buying an RV in the late winter around rustbelt states, the salt and other road chemicals are impossible to avoid; that stuff get splashed around on everything, even when they are just being moved around the lot to do snow removal. Another reason I am psyched about getting our first trailer, so we can scope out which warmer states we want to consider relocating to after the kids go off to college.  I am only 47, and I now I am totally sick of a lifetime of snow and cold. The wife's company has major sites in: NC, KY, TX (and all of those sound great to me!).

I never drove with anything in tow, backing up was an interesting experience!
