When I made my own dinette, I made it in such a way that she could have her bed/sleep under the table.<br />She won't do it....got to be in the 2' floor space right below my bed.<br />A small price to pay for such devoted friends.]]>

I reinforced ours with 1x2s around the whole table opening. Then ran 1x2 supports at the corners down to the floor. My wife and I sleep there and use the tent space on the 172T for storage when it cools down. Much warmer. I never noticed any issues with stability of the table previously, but feel better with the reinforcement and it was a simple mod.]]>
