The dealer did a really good walk through with me. He answered my questions before I was able to ask them.
We plan a shakedown cruise next week locally for a couple of day and then we head of to the west. Colorado to visit my son and then on to the Dakotas, Badlands and then T. Roosevelt NP's. From there to the UP and LP of Michigan before returning home to good old Peachtree City just south of Atlanta. All in all about 4000 miles. Whew!!!
As it is, the dinette is worthless as a bed because it's way too narrow.

One of the things that my wife and I considered when we chose the 179 was being able to get out of bed in the middle of the night without disturbing each other. Since the queen bed is turned the wrong way for that, she'll likely get the queen and I'll take the dinette when both of us are traveling. When we do our solo thing, I'm sure we'll use the queen.

The current R-Pods by state/model list on the FB group shows the top 3 floor plans as 179>178>177. And that is even a bit skewed since the 179 has been in production the shortest amount of time of those 3.
We will be picking up our new 179 hopefully this week or next and can't wait. I am sure that I will be posting a lot of questions in the not to distance future as we learn our new pod.
