    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=3037" rel="nofollow">Scooby's Shack</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 7480<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 15 Jun 2016 at 9:28am<br /><br /><span style="line-height: 16.8px;">When I purchased my Pod 151 it came with a Dome, however as a single person there was no way I would be able to put it up by myself, AND why do it for short weekend trips. &nbsp;I found a post on the forum about the Pahaque Visor and contacted the company. &nbsp;They are great to work with! &nbsp;The first thing they asked was the size of the kedder rail, because they knew that FR had changed rails during the 2010 manufacturing year. &nbsp;In addition, they had never made a visor for a 151 and they did the research on the length of the rail and the smaller size of the trailer.</span><div style="line-height: 16.8px;"><br></div><div style="line-height: 16.8px;">It was the best $300 I've spent in a long time! &nbsp;The visor is so, so, easy to install by yourself. &nbsp;The first time I had it up, on Memorial Day weekend, there was a storm with wind gusts over 20 mph and it made it through perfectly.</div><div style="line-height: 16.8px;"><br></div><div style="line-height: 16.8px;">I definitely recommend the visor!</div>]]>

We have the dome but thought the visor would be good for using on short trips.  If anyone has purchased how do you like the visor?  We just purchased our 179 in October 2015 and used one time before storing for the winter. I looked up the website and they have a 10'1" awning. I measured my Rpod 179 & from the far edge of the door to the inside of the window and I do believe the 10'1" will fit right in there. This company seems to do a lot of specialty retrofit awnings for all sorts of vehicles VW buses motorhomes etc. their phone number is listed on their website if I recall correctly and you could give them a call make sure you get the US company. <img src="http://www.rpod-owners.com/smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> ]]>

My name is Sean. I bought a 2016 rpod179 last september. Luckly i was able to get out 3 times before i put it up for the winter. &nbsp;I just love my unit. I was told the sreen room add-on was a bad buy. And i'm glad i passed on it. This fall i ran into another 179 pod owner with the room and he hates it..I just got done making a white waning for my pod. Ill post pics as i get the pod out for the spring..As i work for a tent company i could mimic some of the stress point needs..Hope evryone has an enjoyable camping season..Sean]]>
