Wettest January since 1932 for area.
Flamingo cg had flooding issues. Hotter and wetter than normal with high humidity.

Plenty of interest in rpod/rdome and discussed pros/cons. Also discussed questionable quality of workmanship of the product . directed all to rpod forums for opinions of other owners.

Saw plenty of wildlife. Half dozen or more gators,1 salt water crocodile (about 12 ft.) didn't get close enough to use my tape measure, and lots of birds. The rarest bird was an American bittern. The croc was sunning itself on a beach area by the parking lot of 9 mile pond. Usually can not get that clear or close-up look at the crocs. There are only about 400 in all of South Florida. Have seen them before down near flamingo cg.

Took the 12ft alum rowboat with us and went out on the water for birdwatching.
