Why ? I think its partly because there are alot of other Podders on this forum that praise Couch's and how doing business with them was a pleasure.</DIV><DIV>And now we have experienced it, we too feel it was a pleasure.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Nobody wants to pay MSRP, and these days hardly anyone does, no matter what your buying.</DIV><DIV>Getting a good price doesnt have to mean questionable service after the sale.</DIV><DIV>Like any other major market, the RV&nbsp;industry is hoping to suck you in and sell you all this "Kewl"</DIV><DIV>stuff to go along with your RV. AND WE LOVE IT !!!</DIV><DIV>We share informaton about products to consider, and not consider. We share our experiences with our very simular RVs, good and bad. And we look to each other for ideas and information.</DIV><DIV>Couch's seems to be a part of this "family", and they know it. Absolutely nothing about a 1 year extended warranty on the r pod through FR and I specifically asked and was told it did not exist. Oh well who knows why, I don't.&nbsp; I did not misunderstand.&nbsp; Again thanks so much for the information gepaine.<br>]]>

Then you have to contact us so we can mail you the documents so that you can mail them back to us'<br>Rhonda, on the other hand, was very straight forward...and seemed to want to get the paper work done right then.<br><br>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=2" rel="nofollow">Guests</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 741<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 29 Oct 2009 at 10:24pm<br /><br />Final followup: After finally getting through to the warranty department at FR, I was told I had to wait at least two weeks for the paperwork to get its way from Couch's to FR, and then call them back, for them to mail me the extended warranty paperwork to fill out (sigh!)<br>In addition, a forum member mentioned talking to a person named Rhonda at FR who helped them out.<br>Today, after waiting the two weeks, I call FR and talked to Rhonda, rather than the multiple other<br>people in the Warranty department.&nbsp; She was very friendly and said if I had the Pod's VIN number and a credit card number she would fill out all of the necessary info and mail me an extended warranty document!<br>She completed everything in about five minutes!<br>I would almost encourage FR to promote her...but then we would lose a very competent person<br>who can cut through the typical bureaucratic paperwork that seems to swamp all businesses.<br>]]>

She sent an internal email to Susan and I finally got a call back after four days...<br>But it didn't end there...Susan told me that they wouldn't even send me the paper work until the end of the month (another three weeks)<br>When I specifically asked her if the 'ten day limit' would start at that time...she waffled and wouldn't specifically state one way or another.<br>I am still wondering why dealers don't have the necessary FR warranty application sheets...and<br>if it is so hard to get the applications (to give FR more money)...what happens when I need<br>warranty service?<br><br>]]>

I believe it is the dealers who must step up and be the go between.&nbsp; I dont think I should have to call one person a 1000 mi away to get service.&nbsp;The dealer&nbsp;was only to glad to take my money.</P>]]>

When I followed up, I spoke with Rhonda Yoder at FR and she was super. She straightened our the problem right away.
