Any sway in the primary trailer is multiplied on the second. Also, porpoising, or bounce, also amplified.<div><br></div><div>Large 5th wheel trailers are nearly immune to sway, as their hitch point is over the rear axle of the pickup truck. Also, the trailer axles of the 5th wheel trailers are far back (they have high tongue loads) and they don't bounce as much as shorter trailers.</div><div><br></div><div>&nbsp;There has to be some YouTube video of double towing being done the wrong way.</div>]]>

So I stopped about 30' back so he could make the swing onto the road then I saw the boat and could't believe how big the boat was but when the cooker came out I was speechless. Now picture traffic in downtown Jackson Hole in July and you have the whole scene.]]>

Just the 65 foot total rule, excluding extensions (ladders, etc) up to 6 additional inches.<br /><br />ronahue, I've been towing trailers since the 80's and I would still be sitting there in the Walmart parking lot with you!]]>

I couldn't have gotten it out of a Walmart parking lot even if the store was closed.]]>
