I would love to watch someone try to back up with a tandem or triple trailer pulling setup.  That would take normal trailer backing way up to a whole new level! 
 Let's see, I need to go the opposite of the opposite, so I turn the steering wheel the opposite of the opposite of the way that I think I need to turn it......it could be very entertaining.

The major safety problem with double towing is sway. Any sway in the primary trailer is multiplied on the second. Also, porpoising, or bounce, also amplified.

Large 5th wheel trailers are nearly immune to sway, as their hitch point is over the rear axle of the pickup truck. Also, the trailer axles of the 5th wheel trailers are far back (they have high tongue loads) and they don't bounce as much as shorter trailers.

 There has to be some YouTube video of double towing being done the wrong way.

It was so cool all I could see was a dually and the front part of the fifth wheeler coming out of a parking lot but the rest was hidden by a building. So I stopped about 30' back so he could make the swing onto the road then I saw the boat and could't believe how big the boat was but when the cooker came out I was speechless. Interesting that a 5th wheel isn't required there, I didn't see anything on UDOT, either. Just the 65 foot total rule, excluding extensions (ladders, etc) up to 6 additional inches.

This summer we saw a rig going through downtown Jackson Hole, WY a dually with a fifth wheeler towing a large boat which was towing the largest smoker/cooker I have ever seen and he made it through town just fine. Actually here in Utah I believe the only requirement is that the total length must be under 65'.  It's not required that the 2nd vehicle be a 5th wheel.
IMO: Triple towing is very rarely a good idea!

besides being illegal in most states, the frame of the pod is not designed in any way for this use.

Was wondering if anyone has installed a hitch on the rear of their pod to pull another trailer such as a light 4 wheeler trailer.  I would love to hear about any experience with this.
