Welcome to the forum.  there are a lot of nice people here with a huge amount of knowledge about the r Pods and  about Rv'ing in general.

We are also just getting ready to leave on a  week trip  that is just the reverse of yours.  We live in NC and are headed to Florida and Georgia.

where are you going in NC mountains?

We bought a used 2014 R-Pod 178 last summer and are set to begin a long road trip on October 6th - going to Florida, Georgia, and the mountains of North Carolina.
