A good choice, you won't regret it on those long hauls. Not backwards at all. In fact, you want to know your Travel Trailer requirements first, then match it to a suitable Tow Vehicle.

I am picking up a new 178 in South Fork, Co in about a month - my first trailer.  We will be taking our first trip to Moab, Utah traveling through the Rockies....I may be doing this backwards but now I need to get a tow vehicle.  Any suggestions?  Although we live in TX most of our vacations will be out west into the a National Parks, etc.
