    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=4247" rel="nofollow">Don Halas</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 6767<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 13 Sep 2015 at 8:27am<br /><br />Follow up to the question about using Velcro to attach the seat ends to the bench in the dinette.<div id="UMS_TOOLTIP" style=": ; cursor: pointer; : 2147483647; top: -100000px; left: -100000px; : transparent;"></div><div><br></div><div>I found that the bench ends do indeed have a purpose; to keep the plywood under the cushions from sliding and keeping my ass from falling in the storage area. &nbsp;Well that didn't happen, but I could see the possibility.</div><div><br></div><div>So I flipped the plywood over and added 1"X 1"'s at each end to keep the plywood from sliding either direction. &nbsp;Since I was there, I also ran a piece vertically in the middle as an attempt to strengthen the seat.</div><div><br></div><div>I'll post a pic if I can remember.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div>]]>

Noticed on here some one made new ones out of solid wood and fastened them more securely.<br>]]>
