It was very expensive, something like $1600. It had to work very hard to move the trailer, as did my husband to turn it. It has cables to connect to the trailer battery but they are not long enough on our trailer so we have to move the battery to the Parkit. After a couple of uses it stopped working and we went back and forth with the company for a couple of months trying to get the problem resolved, new parts and wiring. They are in Canada and helpful but it still doesn't work correctly. We ended up storing the trailer and paying the monthly storage fee.

Anyone interested in a slightly used Parkit360?

If you like you can off set it a little for a better view don't think it would be needed tho. In this configuration you could thread your RPod down a clothesline within inches with very little effort. I am a retired aircraft worker and a lot of experience in towing aircraft and trailers

Any experience?

I posted this on the regular FR user group but had limited response.

Hello everyone!

I plan to store my Surveyor SP240 (7300 lbs) in the side yard which is the other side of our house from the driveway. I have three oak trees in the front yard that keep me from backing up using my truck, just can't cut it hard enough to not take out a tree or a finder. I have solid ground so I am not worried about damaging the lawn and not more that a 3 degree rise.

I have been looking at two "electric power trailer dollies" on the market...

Does anyone have experience (good or bad) with any of these companies?

While I like the over all look of of the Parkit360HD, the Powermover AC-6 seems to have more power and a stable platform. Although it is a chunk of change to buy one of these 32 months of storage will cover the cost, so it seems like a good long term solution and don't we all want our trailer where we can work on it.

Interested in hearing your experience with these gizmos.
