I brought it back to the dealer. The DSI light is a FAULT light, it will only come on if the WH tries to light and can't.

If you already had hot water, it won't light.

My water heater operates on Electric however will not work on Propane. I turn on the propane and the water heater switch. The DSI light never lights up. The water heater does not fire up.

Any thoughts or suggestions on what it might be before calling the dealer .
I just bough this 2015 RP178.
