I have a 178 and personally I would not undertake that endeavor. I make up any location inconvenience with the remote control. Moving it would be a major PITA. There are some folks that have cut wood wedges and remounted it in place so it angles down giving the average height human a better view of the controls. I might do that. 

The remote will control it from anywhere in the POD, even in BED. Try bouncing the signal of the front wall...works for me. Smile

Has anyone relocated the radio in their 178.  I just bought a 178 and the radio is not conveniently location.
I am thinking to move it lower and relocate the Slide out with and outside light switch.

Any thoughts
