To add to Charlie's...on my 178 it's just behind the panel below the sink cabinet - four screws.

It will be very close to your water pump and will be connected to the input (suction) side of the pump. This is the first, and most probable thing to check. It's also possible, though doubtful, that the water heater is purging.. But if you have used it for hot water before, and not drained it..

Sometimes ours sputters for quite a bit before all the air gets out.
Are you bleeding both the hot and cold faucets?

I'm having trouble with my water pump in the 178. This is our first time primitive camping. Our water tank is full, and I turned the pump on. However, when the water comes out it sputters really bad and does not come out flowing correctly. I have checked to see if the lines have the air out but it doesn't stop sputtering.
