    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=3816" rel="nofollow">CFWARREN</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 6638<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 14 Jul 2015 at 8:54pm<br /><br />I suppose it depends in part on what's covered, what isn't, and the cost.<br>I've found with most things, electronics for example, that if there's a problem it's going to be <br>there right off.&nbsp; Problems that develop down the road are another matter.&nbsp; You have a one-year warranty on the Rpod, so anything that comes up during that time is already covered.&nbsp; <br>It's kind of redundant to buy an extended warranty that covers the same period of time.<br>&nbsp;<br>My Rpod came with a "free" lifetime warranty.&nbsp; I put that in quotes because it's anything but free.&nbsp; <br>In order to stay in effect, I have to take the RV in once a year for an inspection/service, for which they will charge me $100.&nbsp; (This is separate from winterizing and de-winterizing)&nbsp; <br>If I miss a year, the warranty is over.&nbsp; So if I keep the RV for 10 years, I will have paid $1,000 for a "free" warranty.&nbsp; Good deal, huh?&nbsp; :)<br>However, RV repairs are very expensive these days, one or two major repairs, and I might come out ahead, who knows.<br>]]>
