you would have to have your lights on in your tow vehicle if you hook to those wires!!!

I have new 179 here and trying to install a 12V receptacle.  under the bed I found a pair (green and white)  wires going to running lights I guess, could I connect wires to these and run the receptacle ?

I want receptacle for 12V fan.
