Congrats on your 177!! The mileage is indeed a shocker. I find that 60 ish &nbsp;gets me the best mpg in my Dodge Grand Caravan which is 25-27 on the highway, 13.5-15.5 towing our pod.<div>Wind is a big factor along with if you tow with full or partially full or empty tanks.</div><div><br></div><div>Happy podding!!</div>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=4179" rel="nofollow">rawellman</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 6456<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 20 Jun 2015 at 8:44pm<br /><br /><font size="4"><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">I'm Ron and just joined the forum after having purchased a "like new 2013 RP-177.&nbsp; Intend to use it for local trips in central Michigan up to and including the Upper Peninsula.&nbsp; Also plan to tow to Glacier Park MT later this summer. <br><br>Tow vehicle is a 2nd generation Toyota Sienna which limited the size RV we could consider.&nbsp; The R-Pod seems to be among the best of the light weights aside from the stratospherically priced Airstream. Plan a shakedown learning for a single overnight next weekend.<br><br>Mileage on our sienna was a shocker ! 24.4 mpg on way to pick up the camper about 60 miles from home; 9.8 mpg on way home towing the RP-177.&nbsp; Japanese precision engineering to optimize Sienna native fuel economy apparently has a wrench thrown into the equation when the trailer is added.<br><br>My first help question:&nbsp; The lower rubber seal on the slide out has fallen partially out of it's retaining track causing it to sag visibly.&nbsp; What is the magic to re affix the seal into it's mounting track.&nbsp; Tried unsuccessfully to pinch the rubber and simply slide it back in place.<br><br>Thanks in advance for any help.<br><br><br><br><br></font></font>]]>
