Sounds like you got into the parental control section of the tv. If it wasn't intentionally setup, you may be able to find the default password in the manual.

Never heard of that one.. My only *guess* would be that someone has turned on a child lock? My wife is out in the 179 for the first time. When she tried to do a channel search on the TV menu for the antennae, it would not let her go to that window without unlocking with a password first.
