I hadn't tried out the extra cables that came with my A/V units when I posted my message. I had two extra cables: a three-wire cable with male RCA jacks on both ends, and a three-wire cable with female RCA jacks on one end and a single small male auxiliary jack on the other end. I used two male jacks on the first cable to come out of the audio out on the TV and then into two female jacks on the second cable, and then the male aux jack on the second cable into the aux A/V receptacle on the front of the stereo. It worked. I had to leave the volume setting up a bit on the TV in order to get a signal to the stereo, but I could get all the volume that I wanted through the stereo speakers with much improved sound.

I was wondering the same thing.  My TV came with a 2nd set of cables (RCA to 1/8 in plug).

I guess you can wire the RCA output of the TV to the 1/8 in receptacle in front of the Jensen stereo.  I haven't tried it but that's probably how it works.

My 2015 r-pod 179 came with a Jensen JE1914 television and a Jensen AWM968 stereo. The TV has very poor speakers and I'd like to listen to the audio of antenna and cable inputs to the TV through the stereo. How can I do that?
