The port side of the frame had electric cable zip-tied to the frame such that mounting it forward did not work. After drilling the holes to mount the tube, I set the tube on the ground and tapped the sheet metal screws into the frame with a ratchet wrench, then backed them out. I found it easier attach the tube without the struggle of tapping in the screws at the same time.

Just far enough back that it doesn't interfere with the forward stabilizers. Use #12 or #14 stainless steel hex head sheet metal screws about 1-1/2 inches long with SS flat washers. Measure carefully and predrill holes in the left and right side main frame members using the proper drill for the size screw you choose. Do not over-torque the screws while inserting because SS is brittle and can snap. If a screw snaps you'll have to move slightly and redrill. You can leave the original short tube in place for shorter things.
