This is our first camper.  Kids are adults now, so this is what we wanted to try as empty nesters.  Wanted something small, simple, and we could pay cash for to try out and this used 171 seemed to fit the bill.  I have a feeling we'll be trading up to a 178 or 179 in the future.

I found a used 2010 RP-171 nearby and pick it up this weekend.  I am excited!!!

I still have a lot to do to put a 7-pin harness and brake controller on my truck.

I am looking to buy a late model used Forest River R-Pod camper, preferably models RP-171, RP-177, RP-178 or RP-179 (will consider other models) for under $10K in Florida or somewhere within a reasonable driving range.  I'm located between Daytona and Orlando.

R-Pod must be in good shape with clean title and no damage or defects. I've missed out on a few recently that were posted on Craig's list locally.
