The main difference is place of manufacture and west coast higher prices. As long as you get the axle risers you're good. They are important. The HRE wheels and tires look good, but that's about it.&nbsp;</font>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=3821" rel="nofollow">chrismic1995</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 6081<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 14 Apr 2015 at 8:15pm<br /><br />Hello all, I'm a long time lurker but first time poster. &nbsp;I would like to reach out for opinions/guidance...<div>I have decided on the 176 model for my family, however I am still struggling with the Hood River Edition (HRE) or the standard East coast model. &nbsp;From what I can tell the only difference is the axle risers, larger rims, and aggressive tires. &nbsp;I have a received a quote for the East coast model with the axle risers that is about $3000-$3500 cheaper than any HRE 176 edition quote, are there any other benefits of the HRE and paying the $3K+? &nbsp;I live on the western side of Colorado in the mountains, I figured worst case I buy larger rims, tires and poof I have a HRE. &nbsp;The driving distance is about the same to pick up the HRE or the East coast model.</div><div><br></div><div>I have price Blue Dog and Nelsons RV for the HRE....</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Thanks,</div><div><br></div><div><br>CM</div>]]>
