If the issue you have is NOT about the OP, then start a new post.  We're offering suggestions to two different issues.  Too confusing and not worth suggesting to.<br /><br />Bailey - I would start taking apart until I figured it out , then recall how I did that in future.  Multiple manufactures and different products, I appreciate the suggestions and the fact folks are helping, without knowing what you have it is a crap shoot.<br /><br />This one reason the Advanced Search has issues.]]>

It is attatched to inside of my  black cover. A wing nut holds it on outside. Do I disconnect it. I need to remove cover to fill tank. Thx.]]>

It should lift off although you might have to twist is around a bit so the molded in indents clear the tank's brackets. When my vinyl cover wore out, I bought a plastic cover to use instead. I use a bungee cord underneath to hold it, although it probably isn't needed.]]>

As it turns out, I just happen to have an extra (one left over from my trade-in, I guess). It's a very dark green, but I have an identical black one on my pod. Only problem is that they are both emblazoned in large white letters with the name and contact of my dealer! (McPhails of Harriston, ON, CA). So, I think these are something that the dealers drum up and may be hard to find commercially. <br /><br />Any interest? I sure don't need two! Where are you located? I am trying to find a BLACK vinyl 20 pound propane tank cover. I can't seem to find it. I found white vinyl covers. And tons of black plastic/hard covers. But I do not want either of those. I have seen the black vinyl tank cover on other Roods so I know they exist. I have tried EBay, PPL, Camping World, Academy, and the general Google sites. Anyone have a black vinyl (soft) propane cover? Where did you purchase it?
