There are a few products on the market to allow for air to circulate under your mattress. Hypervent is one: http://www.doityourselfrv.com/prevent-under-mattress-mold-hypervent/

I've been seeing these on more and more RV's.

Lastly the Neptune Slat system: http://www.neptune.nl/slatsystems/?page=lattenbodems

I guess most that works on boats will work for RV's........

Even when we use the furnace we leave the vent cracked open an inch of so.
Coldest temps we have camped is mid thirties.

not sure if it will last forever but one nice thing about the 2015 r-pods is that the door stays exactly where you put it so never have to worry about the wind ripping it from your hand etc :p

I put two layers of 1 1/2" long self sticking weather stripping on my fender where the door would hit, if it got away from us. Spent about 3 weeks camping since buying our 179 in August.
Looking forward to trying one of those foam noodles some motorhomes use on their slides.
Haven't yet found a vender.

Assume it was "normal condensation".  Our climate is very dry but always have some condensation on the inside of windows in the morning due to lower overnight temps.  Maybe we need to open the roof vent more, but what's the point if using the furnace?  The underside of the mattress (above the pass through on 171) may have had greater warm/cool interface (we used the foil insulating blanket).  Just glad we caught it.  Especially now that a new mattress is permanently in place (didn't buy a bendable mattress... DOH!).

Hi everyone, our 179 is still at the dealers because of the weather around here. I go to visit it once a week taking measurements and looking around. One thing that really troubles me is the outside door does not lay flat against the trailer when it is open. Has anyone considered wanting to have a door that hinges the other way? I meant to take some measurements the other day to see if it was even possible, but too much snow to do it, anyone have any thoughts on this? Just a few field notes:
1.  Be sure to taste the "city water" before you just hook up to it.  It could be too mineralized or just plain nasty tasting.  Ask me how I know this.  Draining system now.
2.  When setting up, if you plan to use the garage feature and want some shade, put that end of the trailer facing north.  Again, ask me how I know this.
3.  That little Aussie grill that came with my 181g gets REAL HOT REAL FAST.  Even on the lowest setting, with the lid closed it sneaks up to almost 400 degrees.  Slick little grill, just keep an eye on it.
4.  The PahaQue eyebrow works great, once the sun was in the western sky......  And yes. it has a red stripe - someone ordered it and did not pick it up so I got it half price.  Red's OK.  The awning is a real nice piece of work.  5 - 10 mph gusts no problem.

If it seems like I'm getting some hard lessons here, well not really - at least I'm not sleeping on the ground anymore and the margaritas are real cold after camp is set up.  More trips planned as the weather gets warmer, will of course be moving up in elevation or latitude or both.  Next time, no hook-ups.  Battery and solar panel test time.  Pictures attached, had to stop for that Nevada sunset - The adventures of the banjo pod continue!
